This week we’re launching the first of TEN new episodes featuring world class musicians and their favorite, tour-tested grub-stops.

Shawn Mayer’s episode is the first to begin to feature some footage from our debut G&G LIVE event which we hosted at Peter Nappi Studio in Nashville, TN.

By day, this “you gotta see to believe” location serves as world headquarters for Peter Nappi and their unrivaled collection of boots, bags and other dry goods. Our Gigging & Grubbing programs are designed to help fans like YOU discover the best LIVE music and artist-approved / artist-supporting food stops coast to coast. Each show gives you BIG servings of two songs per artist and mouth-watering samples of can’t miss grub.

Suggestions like these helped us figure out the best way to work with You Tube on unique / exclusive programming for THEIR channel…while keeping G&G’s unique network of programming right where you expect it on our branded sites.

2012 NAMM Show comes to G&G’s backyard!

“The global music products gathering of the year” -NAMM- comes to our backyard this week, and we’re lucky enough to have planned our next shoot on Jan. 21 at our “mansion on the hill!”

We’ll shine the light on some of the best indie artists – and some of the stars fresh from the NAMM Show floor – and help you discover LIVE musicians and the best “artist-approved” local grub!

Meantime, we’re thrilled to have launched our first episodes of 2012 featuring Jenn Franklin and Cafe Bosna – and we’ll keep adding tracks to G&G Radio for a unique listening experience that celebrates the authentic LIVE performances of G&G artists you’ll want to hear!

We’ve added a new G&G Radio function to our home page which allows you to enjoy the recorded performances we’ve captured at home, at work, on your phone, in your car – where you want, when you want!

We’ll keep adding to the playlist and giving you an opportunity to discover the best live musicians who write, play AND sing to deliver the most authentic experience in your music eco-system! (wow…did I just nerd out there?…yeah, maybe a little.)

More grubbing: Porta Via & Bombay Palace

Brit Stokes took us to Nashville’s Porta Via for some VPN certified pizza and mouth-watering pasta. What does THAT mean? Porta Via adheres to the strictest standards of Neapolitan pizza as outlined by the Associazone Verace Pizza Napoletana (VPN) and, as you’ll see in a future episode of G&G, these folks are slinging some of the most authentic Italian food on the planet! Next month they’ll open a new Cool Springs location, and we encourage you to stop by either location and ask for the Gigging & Grubbing special! Tell Martin, Mehrdad, Giovanni, and Riccardo we said hello, and ask for Ashley when you arrive…we’re pretty sure she’ll run the place someday!

We also were lucky enough to be charmed to the depth of our souls by the lovely and talented, Allie Farris, last week. Her favorite food stop in Music City? Bombay Palace – Fine Indian Cuisine on West End. Ranjeet Singh and his son took great care of us, and we left the ordering to Allie. We’ll have an extra special episode that captures the intense flavors of Allie’s favorite meal, and special offers for YOU coming soon…
